We, husband and wife Allan and Riin Liht, are the heart and soul of MÖM Wild Organic Honey. For us, organic beekeeping is a lifestyle. What started in 2015 has now grown into a family business that is fully dedicated to high-quality and sustainable beekeeping with love, bringing you honest and pure honey directly from Estonian nature.
Special flavors in original packaging
In addition to traditional honey, we offer a wide range of exciting taste experiences. In our product selection, you will find various flavored honeys enriched with berries and herbs, honey marinades, healthy bee bread, pollen, and authentic honeycomb.
Organic Honey
Our craft honey is genuine and 100% from Estonia. We have conducted a DNA test to prove that our honey contains only Estonian plants and consists solely of honey collected by bees. Our bees’ living environment is made of natural materials and is located in a clean environment, away from activities involving chemical residues.
We extract and package our honey in a designated modern facility and containers, which are approved by the Agriculture and Food Board. We store the honey in the correct conditions, which ensures that all its beneficial properties are preserved to the maximum level. The honey is entirely handmade, thus retaining all the valuable pollen grains, bee bread, and wax particles.
All our activities comply with the strict monitoring and testing criteria for organic farming of the European Union. The organic label on every product provides a certificate and confirmation that we follow all organic requirements throughout the entire production process.
The creator of MÖM's new products
Allan is the dedicated beekeeper and soul of the MÖM apiary. He is a traveler at heart who hikes in the nature of different countries, drawing inspiration for a deeper understanding of bee life as well as for creating innovative honey products. Allan is a truly innovative production and development manager, always seeking new opportunities, who ensures that every MÖM honey is of uncompromisingly the best quality.
The creator of MÖM's story and values
Riin is the company’s marketing engine and strategist. With years of experience as a marketing manager, she ensures that MÖM’s story and values reach everyone. However, her contribution is not limited to her family business – Riin is an active participant and contributor in the entire Estonian beekeeping sector. She shapes marketing and communication in the Beekeeping Council association, is involved in the Estonian Organic Beekeepers’ NGO, and shares her marketing knowledge with future beekeepers at Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economics.
Nordic nature
MÖM organic honey comes from Estonia’s crisp nature – from forests and meadows. Our bee colonies operate in Harku municipality, in the Sõrve nature reserves, where the air is clean and nature is rich. According to the rules of organic beekeeping, we ensure that our bees’ flight area is free of chemical residues, offering the bees the best foraging grounds.
Bees first
For us, the health and well-being of the bees are paramount. We believe that happy bees produce the best honey. This means we create the most natural and clean environment for them to live in and avoid activities that could harm or disturb them. Each bee colony has its own character, and we treat them with respect.
